About Alego Usonga Constituency

Alego Usonga Constituency is one of the six(6) constituencies that makes up Siaya County. It covers a total area of 623.5 square kilometers. The constituency borders Ugenya and Ugunja constituencies to the North , Gem constituency to the North East, Rarieda constituency to the East and Bondo Constituency to the West. On the Western side, the constituency borders Busia County and Lake Victoria through Yala Swamp. Administratively, the constituency is divided into six county assembly wards: - North Alego, West Alego, Siaya Township, Central Alego, South East Alegoand Usonga. The wards are further divided into ten (10) locations and 42 sub locations.
